Most writers will tell you that getting multiple pairs of eyes to edit and offer feedback on your work is a crucial step to writerly success. But not everyone can make the time commitment to attend workshops that are often in-person and cost-prohibitive. Well, don’t fear. Veda and Karel are ready to give your writing the attention and feedback it deserves—all you have to do is send it over to us, and we’ll have it back to you with plenty of thoughts, questions, and suggestions, so you can keep refining your work.

  • Level 1: Your First Chapter

    Choose this package if you want detailed feedback and line edits on the first chapter of your novel or nonfiction book. This package includes:

    2 line edits of your first chapter;

    2 critique letters from Veda and Karel detailing our thoughts, critiques, suggestions, and questions;

    Special feedback from each of us on the opening paragraph — what hooks us and what doesn’t.

    $150 total.

  • Level 2: First Chapter + Zoom Workshop

    Choose this package if you would like everything offered in Level 1 along with a 45 minute long Zoom workshop, where we will walk you through our feedback and chat about your work.

    This is an opportunity to have two experienced writers as a soundboard for your ideas. We’re here to help you brainstorm, think through questions, and offer suggestions and encouragement.

    $175 total.

  • Level 3: Three Chapter Consultation

    Choose this package if you’re looking for someone to run your first three chapters through a fine-toothed comb. Together, we will make your book opening bulletproof. This package includes:

    Close reading and line edits for the entire submission.

    Critique letters from Veda and Karel on each of the three chapters.

    2 Zoom call workshops where we discuss our feedback, your questions for us, and brainstorm together.

    Ongoing email support and encouragement, as well as access to our online community spaces.

    $300 total.
